Your Healthy Buzz For Summer

Kicking off summer weekends in style (and healthy style at that) definitely shouldn’t have to mean sacrificing the festivity (read: cocktails). So to that end, here’s a concoction that combines all of the above:

A Citrus Martini, which has been engineered by juice expert Susan Cabana of Nourish Your Soul with all kinds of essential vitamins and minerals thanks to our Citrus Blend – combo of blood orange, grapefruit, and ginger, plus a solid dose of Tito’s Handmade Vodka.

Blood oranges are rich in Vitamin C and have anti-inflammatory properties. Grapefruit helps in weight loss, prevents arthritis, supports lower cholesterol levels, and is rich in Vitamins B and C. Meanwhile, the ginger helps with digestion, promotes energy circulation, and increases your metabolic rate.

Even better than all that, this is the kind of libation that you’ll find yourself serving and drinking throughout the year–it’s as refreshing all summer as it is in throughout autumn parties.

So mix one up tonight and anytime going forward, and say hello to your summer with a buzz… but a clean, healthy one.

Citrus Martini

1 ounces Tito’s Vodka or citrus-flavored vodka

2 ounces Nourish Your Soul citrus blend

Fresh grated ginger or dried blood orange segments, for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously with ice for 5-10 seconds. Pour into a martini glass and enjoy!
